An Angel Soars!

Whitney Houston dead at the tender age of 48.

When I got the call from my cousin Danielle, the first thing she said to me was, "I'm just going to get straight to the point. Whitney Houston has died." I was like, "What?!!! Are you serious?" She said, "Girl yes!!! Danny just called me and told me it's on CNN right now!"

All I could do at the time was hold my mouth open, say OMG!, and turn on the TV to CNN.

What really touches my heart the most is how so many talented people generally have to suffer so much. Nevertheless, the Bible does indeed say, "To whom much is given, much is required." I say that to say this...Anyone who is in the limelight will always be just that, in the limelight. Their lives will truly be scrutinized. When they're in the public eye, it's as if they no longer have their regular lives anymore. They can't just go to the store as they used to before they came famous, which is really sad.

Here's something else that makes me think. So many celebrities have been found dead in their hotel room or home. Examples: Michael Jackson, Don Cornelius, Marilyn Monroe, Anna Nicole Smith, Dorothy Dandrige, Jimmy Hendrix, and many more.
How coincidental that so many of them have died in such a way.

Here are some of my favorite's by Whitney Houston:

"I Will Always Love You"
"The Preacher's Wife"
"Waiting to Exhale"
"Greatest Love of All"

She sang as an Angel. Now, an Angel soars.
Whitney will dearly be missed.

R.I.P. Whitney!
