NBA Lockout?!! Say it Ain't So...
Although I would love to "Say it ain't so", but unfortunately it is so. First the NFL, now the NBA. What is going on? In the words of Rodney King, "Can't we all just get along?" I say that in the sense that the players and the leagues need to get along. They need to come to an agreement. I'm really not a huge fan of the NFL, because I can't tolerate such brutal and dangerous moves on the field. I know it's a contact sport, but I still can't bare to watch someone's child, husband, or father endure such pain, injuries, and God forbid paralysis! I cringe just looking at two players colliding. Now Basketball, I can watch that anytime. The jumpshots, 3-pointers, slams, rebounds, turnovers, etc... I'm usually all in the game yelling and screaming: "Stay on him!" or I'll throw my hands up when a player from one of my favorite teams fails to pass the ball to another teammate whose clearly wide open to make the shot!
