Pillow to Post

Have you ever heard someway say these words: "She's going from pillow to post"? Well, what that basically means is, the person has no stable home or has no stability in their life. I can remember a time when I too was from "pillow to post", just back and forth between my great-grandmother's and my mother's house as a child. Then there was a time in my teenage years when I was living with an older cousin, we moved quite a bit as well. Again, from pillow to post...from place to place...from apartment to apartment...from house to house. ...from house to motel/hotel. Yes, I said hotel! We stayed at a hotel for a brief moment of our "pillow to post" season. Although we can laugh about it to this day by calling it to roach motel, Lol, it wasn't a laughing matter at the time. Communication is Key!

So, I was listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show this morning and the Strawberry Letter was read. Title: "My Husband Donated His Sperm to His Ex." My first reaction was: "What?!" Now although she is contemplating divorcing her husband and he has apologized for everything,  it is Not going to be that easy to repair the broken trust & lack of Communication. My next thoughts were more in line with one of my husband's cousins: "I

KISE started out as an acronym for "Keep it Simple Enjoy" your hair, but now I am Reintroducing it and extending the meaning! I believe we all go through rough times and seasons in our lives; but I also believe there are times when we can make things more complicated than they should be, by worrying and/or stressing when we don't have to. So, I posed this question one day: Why complicate it? Why not just Keep it Simple and Enjoy...life or whatever it is we want to enjoy?! So, I'm going to stick to the purpose of my blog of helping You move forward to become the Star that you were created to be. However, I'm going to take it up a notch by posing this question: How do You KISE? There are many ways we can KISE. Here's a few examples: *Mindset Matters - Grab hold of ALL thoughts & make necessary changes. Simplify what you can. *Daily Routine or Schedule - Do you have one? Is la
