Reintroducing....KISE!

June 18, 2014 was when my brand KISE came to fruition.
KISE started out as an acronym for "Keep it Simple Enjoy" your hair, but now I am Reintroducing it and extending the meaning!
I believe we all go through rough times and seasons in our lives; but I also believe there are times when we can make things more complicated than they should be, by worrying and/or stressing when we don't have to. So, I posed this question one day: Why complicate it? Why not just Keep it Simple and Enjoy...life or whatever it is we want to enjoy?!

So, I'm going to stick to the purpose of my blog of helping You move forward to become the Star that you were created to be. However, I'm going to take it up a notch by posing this question: How do You KISE? There are many ways we can KISE. Here's a few examples:
*Mindset Matters - Grab hold of ALL thoughts & make necessary changes. Simplify what you can.
*Daily Routine or Schedule - Do you have one? Is lack of organization hindering you from getting things done? You can KISE by making yourself a daily schedule.

Those are just a few examples.  Let me know how you KISE!

As I was sitting at my desk at work today listening to a new song being performed by one of my favorite Old School Hip-Hop groups called A Tribe Called Quest ( also known as ATCQ), I had a flashback of the 90's; which was a great era for music. Be Prepared!

Good morning y'all. I was sitting here listening to a YouTuber's commentary about Trump supporters & David Duke & how Trump is firing up White Nationalists, and when the guy said: "All I'm saying is...Be Prepared, because things are going to get worse after this election"....I immediately thought about this old Lion King song, and how fitting it is to things going on right now. It may seem silly or simple of me to use a cartoon for something so serious, but I really believe a lot of reality is hidden subliminally in movies. Dark Girls Rise!

Dark Girls Rise! 06/26/2013 K.R. Brumfield Part 1:      On Sunday, June 23, 2013, the Documentary Dark Girls premiered on OWN ( Oprah Winfrey Network ). It’s a Documentary about the negative images, low self-esteem, and colorism amongst Black women and the African-American Community. The Documentary is directed by Bill Duke & D.
