Another White Christmas in N. Texas

Looks like we got another white Christmas!  The last one we had was a few years ago, but I still enjoy it each & every time. Here are some pics.

2nd Annual Black Girls Rock

So tonight was the 2nd Annual Black Girls Rock Award Ceremony on BET. It was amazing! They honored Taraji P. Henson, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Tatyana Ali, Angela Davis, and many more. Regina King and Tracy Ellis Ross did a wonderful job of hosting the show. On another note...Man Regina look like she be in the gym like 7 days a week! All those muscles were just bulging out, OMG!!! However, her and Tracy definitely rocked it! Here are some of the performers: Erykah Badu, Melanie Fiona (loved her shoes!!), Estelle, Jill Scott (loved the outfit!!), Mary Mary (that blue dress was too much for a Gospel singer, or am I the only one who thought it was a bit over the top or too revealing?), and Mrs. Isaacs a.k.a. the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul and R&B a.k.a. Talk It Out!

When's the last time you had an argument or disagreement with someone? Do you recall what sparked it? Do you find yourself dwelling on what he or she said that made you so mad and caused you to storm out of the room or simply "run away" from the altercation? Isn't it ironic how at times we can have a disagreement with someone at one moment and everything is all good the next? Well, I'd like to believe that the reason behind it is Effective Communication. If we just take a moment to "Talk it Out" , we'll find that the problem really wasn't all that bad. Effective Communication requires adequate Listening skills from all parties involved. True Believers

Well I'm still here. Does that mean I wasn't truly saved? Was I "Left Behind"? Wow! I cannot believe how so many people are so easily influenced or led astray; but then again... I CAN believe it; because I do believe that we are living in the last days. I know these words have been said for many years. However, true Christians or true believers know that it's too easy for the end to just happen when someone "prophesies" it. True believers know the Word for themselves, and don't need a leader to tell them when Christ shall return, thus putting an end to this physical world. True believers know that "He comes like a thief in the night. No man knows the hour or the day of Christ's return". Although the world has not ended on Saturday, May 21, 2011, I do believe that this stirring up , if you will, is still part of End Time prophesy. I believe this to be so, because it's in the Word.
