Excited This Evening

Yes! I am excited this evening, because one of my associates has shown me a great location for our upcoming group session. I have decided to start a group session with others to discussion issues within the African-American community. We will discuss issues from relationships to single parenthood to marriage and anything else that may be bothering us or holding us back from growing as individuals and as a community collectively.

Just in case some may think that this is being biased, racist, or stereotypical...I beg to differ, because this is just a way for individuals to get together and discuss and try to resolve issues. Eventually I'd like to see this group session grow into something bigger that includes men and women of all races. My main objective for doing this is to try and restore unity and love within the African-American community.

So stay tuned for more updates....

As I was sitting at my desk at work today listening to a new song being performed by one of my favorite Old School Hip-Hop groups called A Tribe Called Quest ( also known as ATCQ), I had a flashback of the 90's; which was a great era for music. Be Prepared!

Good morning y'all. I was sitting here listening to a YouTuber's commentary about Trump supporters & David Duke & how Trump is firing up White Nationalists, and when the guy said: "All I'm saying is...Be Prepared, because things are going to get worse after this election"....I immediately thought about this old Lion King song, and how fitting it is to things going on right now. It may seem silly or simple of me to use a cartoon for something so serious, but I really believe a lot of reality is hidden subliminally in movies. Dark Girls Rise! 06/26/2013 K.R. Brumfield Part 1:      On Sunday, June 23, 2013, the Documentary Dark Girls premiered on OWN ( Oprah Winfrey Network ). It’s a Documentary about the negative images, low self-esteem, and colorism amongst Black women and the African-American Community. The Documentary is directed by Bill Duke & D.
